Day 1 Nairobi
Arrive at the Jomo Kenyatta airport where you will be met by Hemingways expeditions driver guide. Transfer to you hotel where you will be on bed and breakfast basis. Eka Hotel is ideally located in Nairobi, along Mombasa Road, in the capital city of Kenya. It is situated minutes away from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, 5km from Wilson Airport and 5km from the bustling central business district. Day 2 Kigali
Transfer to the airport for flight to Kigali.

Day 3 Mountain Gorilla View lodge
Pick up from your hotel and transferred through the land of a thousand hills to the famous Parc National des Volcans. A chance to relax at your lodge, Mountain Gorilla View Lodge, in the shadow of the dramatic Virunga Volcanoes before your gorilla tracking safari starts in the morning!
The Mountain Gorilla View Lodge is located in the shadow of the Virunga Volcanoes the mid range lodge in the area and is perfectly situated for gorilla tracking in Rwanda. The 30 individual cottages have been built on 4 acres of land on the slopes of Mt Sabinyo. The stone and thatch cottages each have en-suite facilities, a small lounge with a fire place and a private veranda. The cottages are of a good size and are well positioned to give them privacy from each other. There is a separate restaurant and bar area where meals served to the guests. Mountain Gorilla View Lodge provides good value for money at the same time as great views and easy access to Parc National des Volcans.
Day 4 Mountain Gorilla view Lodge
Your first day of gorilla tracking! An early start to make your way to the park headquarters where you are assigned a ranger and a gorilla group. Tracking the gorillas can take of a lifetime…coming across these amiable primates in their natural surroundings is quite awe-inspiring as you watch them go about their daily lives, playing, grooming, farting and eating! Return to the lodge later in the afternoon to relax, have a hot shower and reflect on the day’s activities.

Day 5 Drive back to Kigali for overnight

Day 6 Masai Mara
Transfer to Kigali airport for flight to Nairobi, Upon arrival transfer to Wilson airport for flight to Masai Mara departing at 1500 to arrive at 1600 hrs, Upon arrival transfer to Mara Serena.

Day 7 and 8 Masai Mara

Maasai Mara (Masai Mara) is known as Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserve, situated in southwest Kenya. Famous for the abundance of lion, the Great Wildebeest Migration and the Maasai people, well known for their distinctive custom and dress, it is without a doubt one of Africa’s most famous safari destinations.
Maasai Mara National Reserve stretches 1,510 sq km (580 sq miles) and raises 1,500-2,170 meters above sea level. The terrain of the reserve is primarily grassland and riverine forest with clumps of the distinctive acacia trees. It’s about 270 km from the capital city Nairobi and takes about 5-6 hours by road or 40-45 minutes by flight.
The Maasai Mara Ecosystem holds one of the highest lion densities in world and this is where over two million Wildebeest, Zebra and Thomsons Gazelle migrate annually. Its hosts over 95 species of mammals and 570 recorded species of birds.
